For best print quality, we recommend RGB color scale and the dimensions mentioned below.

Important: DPI must be at least 144, however more detailed and intricate designs must be at least 300 DPI to avoid pixilation. Watercolor and ink printing are not recommended. Please view our Print Guide for additional design instructions. If using all-over print, we suggest creating a seamless pattern in a design tool such as Photoshop, Canva or Illustrator for a seamless print before uploading into Creator Studio. We do not recommend uploading the same file inside Creator Studio to create a seamless design.

Print Guide

Print Method : Direct-to-Garment (DTG)

Using specialized ink jet print technology, we apply ink directly to your custom product.

  • Safe Print Area
    Any design not within this area may not appear on the final product once sewn.
  • Removing Backgrounds
    We do not modify or remove backgrounds. Please use transparent PNG files. For any blank space, your product will be the material color.
  • Print Color Variations
    Due to different materials and print methods, we cannot guarantee color match each product. You may place a sample order to ensure products are printed to your liking.
  • Graphic Placement
    Allow 1" tolerance on graphic placement in all directions.

Ink & Insight - Your Questions Answered

Before getting started, please review our Artwork Guidelines & Print Guide as each product has different requirements.

Sublimation is typically used on polyester or polymer-treated materials, UV is for PU products, and DTG is for cotton. 

Yes! In fact we encourage your first purchase is made as a sample to ensure product details, sizing, and fit align with your customers. If you are creating your own apparel, all purchases can be made as samples.

The raw material that is used to produce your sublimated apparel is soft and has some stretch in its original form. After the sublimation and printing process, the material can become stiff and does not have the same softness as the raw material. If you would like to soften the material of your apparel, please follow the instructions below.

  • Step 1. Soak your product in a 5 gallon bucket with room temperature water.
  • Step 2. Add 5 teaspoons of table salt and soak for 60 minutes.
  • Step 3. Machine rinse in cold water with detergent and add 10 ml of fabric softener.
  • Step 4. Dry as instructed per the drying instructions attached to the product. 

Disclaimers:

  • Please use the type of detergent and softener that is recommended by the model/manufacturer of your washing machine. 
  • If the apparel is left to soak longer than 60 minutes, your product may be begin to fade, but the product will continue to soften.
  • The ingredient amounts listed above are based on soaking one product at a time. Please do not attempt to soak multiple products at one time in the same bucket. 
  • This process is not recommended for Women's Swimwear or Women's Athleisure products listed (material content 80% Polyester, 20% Spandex, with a fabric weight: 5.90 oz/yd² (200g/m²) as there is already stretch and softness after sublimation.
